European nightjar
The European nightjar is a nocturnal bird of the size of a thrush that eats flying insects. It has short legs, white patches on the wings and a large mouth, but a small beak. It makes its nest on the ground. The genus of caprimulgiformes has been named after its voice, similar to spinning. Its various species are found all around the world.
