We shall have a day before the main event a “Day Zero” networking event at multiple times awarded Coworking space and Ecosystem Digi Game Center (DGC). Digi & Game Center is also the place where IGDA Finland Jyväskylä Hub Meetups happens now days. The Premises are just 15 min from Matkakeskus by walking or about 5 min walk from Jyväskylä city center .

Professor Tae-Jin Yoon (Graduate School of Communication and Arts, Yonsei University) will be visiting University of Jyväskylä – Jyväskylän yliopisto in August and will also give a public lecture on the topic “Female Game Players in Korea: Can they shoot guns?” at the Digi & Game Center on Thursday, August 24th, from 11:15 to 12:00.

Tae-Jin Yoon is also the president of the Korean Game-n-Science Institute, and he has been teaching and writing about media-related topics for over 20 years. Yoon’s research has explored topics such as TV shows, video games, esports, webtoons and the “Korean wave” phenomenon.
